Project Design Manager
The role focuses on leading and coordinating a multi-disciplinary design team delivering either clean or wastewater capital projects.
You will need to be comfortable managing complex designs end-to-end, working within regulated environments, and prioritising safety, quality, value, and sustainability. Familiarity with CDM, BIM, and digital design tools is beneficial.
Qualifications
* Degree-qualified in an engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience delivering capital projects within the UK water sector
* Strong background in clean water treatment and non-infrastructure assets
* Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teamsConfident managing suppliers and third-party designers
Desirable
* Chartered Engineer (or working towards)
* Experience in a Design & Build environment
Offer
* Contract – 12 months rolling
* Rate – £550 per day (Inside IR35)
* Location – Peterborough
* Working arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days per fortnight
* Mile and lodge costs are reimbursable
