We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Business Administrator to join our growing Sheffield training centre. This is a key role within the organisation, supporting both the learner journey and the wider compliance and quality functions.
More than a front-of-house position, this role is central to the smooth running of our training operations — ensuring learners, tutors, and internal teams are supported effectively from enrolment through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Act as a first point of contact for learners, visitors, and staff, providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience.
*
Support the learner journey by maintaining accurate learner records, updating class registers, and ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
*
Scan, file, and upload learner evidence and compliance documents in line with data protection and audit requirements.
*
Liaise with tutors, learners, and the compliance team to ensure data is accurate and up to date.
*
Support the coordination of classroom activities, room bookings, and training resources.
*
Assist with learner enrolments, inductions, and completion paperwork.
*
Produce and distribute regular reports as required by the compliance and operations teams.
*
Provide general administrative support across departments, ensuring smooth business function within the Sheffield centre.
*
Support Ofsted and ESFA audit readiness through accurate document management and version control.
Skills & Experience:
*
Experience in an administrative role within education, training, or a similar regulated environment (preferred).
*
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
*
Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a professional and approachable manner.
*
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database systems.
*
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider quality and compliance team.
*
A proactive attitude, able to manage workload independently and take ownership of key administrative processes.
*
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security at all times
