About the Role
The Healthcare Hub is currently recruiting an experienced Clinical Senior Care Assistant (Level 3 & above) to join a supportive and dedicated care team in the Preston area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carer looking to take on more clinical responsibility and further their career in the health and social care sector. As a Senior Carer, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality care, supporting residents with clinical needs, and guiding junior care staff to ensure safe, person‑centred support at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver hands‑on, person‑centred care to residents
* Support with clinical duties such as medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs
* Lead and mentor care staff, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices
* Maintain accurate documentation and care plans
* Liaise with healthcare professionals to support residents’ health and wellbeing
* Promote dignity, independence, and high standards of care at all times
Requirements
* Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience working in a care home or healthcare environment
* Medication training and confidence completing clinical tasks
* Strong communication and team‑leading skills
* A compassionate, patient‑focused approach
