We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our teams. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate data processing, assisting with HR administration tasks, and maintaining employee records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update employee records (contracts, personal files, leave records).
* Assist with onboarding of new hires
* Support managers with grievance, disciplinary and performance management cases
* Support recruitment activities
* Monitor absence recording, reports and carry out return to work meetings
* Help administer performance reviews, and training schedules
* Assist with HR reporting and compliance requirements
* Prepare and maintain HR-related correspondence and documentation
* Handle HR-related inquiries from employees
* Support ad hoc HR and payroll projects as needed.
Requirements
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in payroll processing and/or HR administration (CIPD Level 3 preferred but not essential)
* Knowledge of employment laws and payroll regulations
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and HRIS/payroll software
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* High level of confidentiality and integrity
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
