This is a part time fixed term contract position for 3 - 6 months, working approx. 24 hours a week Partners with RemCo and senior business leadership in designing, implementing and monitoring a total reward strategy and the associated reward programmes and plans, in support of the overall business strategy. You'll be responsible for: Articulates and deploys pay benchmarking strategy and the data resources required for its execution. Supports with analytics/ key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure they are in place for monitoring total reward strategy execution. Embeds and manages a reward delegation of authority which ensures that the right reward decisions are made at the right level and executed on time and in full. Ensures that suitable variable pay (both short term and long term) and recognition plans are in place for both rewarding performance as well as attracting and retaining the required talent. Facilitates the understanding of the total reward strategy and its supporting policies and practices through communication and engagement. Maintains, cultivates and establishes a strong collaborative network, developing partnerships with key senior internal and external stakeholders. Leading the Reward team, providing clear goals and objectives. Developing and maintaining good working relationships with senior leaders in the business. Acting as a role model for the Mace behaviours and values. Engaging and influencing senior business stakeholders, including Board members. Delivering reward solutions in a transitional environment and managing ambiguity. Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. You'll need to have: Highly enumerative with deep expertise in all technical aspects of total rewards: job grading, pay benchmarking, salary range design, short term and long-term variable pay design, benefit selection and design, recognition and global mobility practice. Broad based reward knowledge across full spectrum of total reward (base pay, variable pay, benefits, global mobility and recognition). Working knowledge of employment law and pension schemes. Strong consultative and technical problem-solving skills. Significant years' experience in total reward, with a number of years in a regional / multi-country total reward role (or equivalent). You'll also have: Project management skills. Degree level, preferably with relevant human resources/social science degree (or equivalent). Experience of HR services and payroll environments in multi-national businesses. Well-established external reward network. Combination of client side and consulting reward experience.
