Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise daily site activities, ensuring safe and efficient execution of mechanical works.
* Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to maintain progress and resolve issues.
* Oversee installation and commissioning of furnaces and charging machinery.
* Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and site regulations.
* Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily logs, permits, and inspection records.
* Conduct toolbox talks, site inductions, and enforce safety compliance.
* Monitor equipment and material deliveries, ensuring readiness for scheduled work.
* Support troubleshooting and provide technical guidance to site teams.
Requirements:
* Proven experience supervising industrial or heavy machinery projects, ideally involving furnaces or charging systems.
* Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with heavy equipment.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
* Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
* Experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, or process environments preferred.
* Willing to work on site in Alabama and in the UK
