Interocean is seeking a motivated Scots law graduate to join our in-house legal and commercial team as a trainee solicitor. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the offshore energy and marine services sector, working closely with experienced legal counsel and commercial managers.
What you’ll do
* Cover core legal activities in commercial contracts, procurement, compliance, and regulatory work
* Draft and review contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and internal policies
* Support and observe commercial negotiations with clients, suppliers, and partners
* Conduct legal research and provide advice on contract clauses and regulatory developments
* Participate in cross-departmental projects (HR, Finance, Operations)
* Attend business strategy meetings and gain commercial and financial awareness
* Complete mandatory ethics and compliance training (including AML)
* Maintain a PEAT 2 record with evidence mapped to all outcome areas

Requirements
* Scots law LLB and Diploma (PEAT 1) graduate (or due to qualify)
* Strong interest in commercial law, contracts, and the energy/marine sector
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
