Overview
This role plays a key part in developing a skilled, confident, and competent workforce within Pharmacy Aseptic Services at UHS. It exists to ensure that staff working in aseptic production and pharmacy apprenticeship pathways receive high-quality training, assessment, and ongoing professional development. By supporting both new starters and experienced operators, the post helps maintain the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of aseptically prepared medicines for patients across the Trust.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver structured training programmes, oversee competency assessments, and contribute to annual refresher training and operator re-validations.
* Identify training needs linked to new equipment, updated procedures, and evolving regulatory requirements to support service improvement.
* Perform operational work within aseptic services to maintain technical skills and ensure training remains grounded in current practice.
* Support staff to develop a skilled, confident, and competent workforce within Pharmacy Aseptic Services at UHS.
