Maintenance Engineer - Late Shift
£50,000 - £55,000 | Monday-Friday | 5:00pm - 2:00am
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing site, supporting equipment reliability and keeping production running efficiently on the late shift.
This is a practical, shop-floor role where you'll take ownership of maintenance activities and act as a key engineering contact during your shift.
The Role
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault-finding
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Maintain production and site services equipment
- Use CMMS to record work and manage tasks
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Assist with new equipment installation and upgrades
- Work closely with production to minimise downtime
- Ensure health & safety and compliance standards are met
About You
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently on shift
- Experienced Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/FMCG/food
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
- Hold a relevant engineering qualification
