Class 1 Driver Wanted - Ongoing Work
Location: Hailsham, East Sussex
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend work available)

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 (Category C+E) Driver to support our client, a well-established pallet distribution company operating throughout East Sussex and the surrounding areas.
This role involves the safe and timely delivery and collection of palletised goods to commercial customers, including warehouses, industrial estates, retail outlets, and business premises.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Deliver palletised goods to customer locations across East Sussex and surrounding areas.
* Collect pallets and goods from businesses for onward distribution.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
* Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently.
* Use tail lifts and pallet trucks where required.
* Complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs accurately.
* Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at all times.
* Adhere to all driving regulations, working time directives, and company policies.
* Follow all health and safety procedures.
* Maintain the cleanliness and security of the vehicle.
Please be aware that your role may not be limited to these tasks.
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
* Valid CPC Qualification Card.
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
* Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
* Experience with pallet network deliveries is advantageous but not essential.
* Good geographical knowledge of East Sussex and surrounding areas.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
* Right to work in the UK.
