Role Overview
Employment Advisers are the front line of Reed in Partnership, directly supporting long‑term unemployed jobseekers, engaging with local employers, and promoting the Restart Scheme within the local community.
Pay Range: £28,000 to £30,000. Working Hours: Full‑time (part‑time considered). Flexible working arrangements may vary. Internal applications close19/06/2026.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of a caseload of long‑term unemployed jobseekers, identify barriers and create tailored action plans to progress them into employment.
* Deliver personalised, one‑to‑one guidance to participants including CV writing, interview preparation and skills development.
* Meet and exceed performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Collaborate with participants to shift their mindset and build the confidence they need to find and sustain work.
* Engage with local employers to identify job opportunities.
* Signpost participants to internal and external stakeholders to address specific barriers such as health, housing, or financial challenges.
* Promote the Restart Scheme within the community, raising awareness of its benefits and impact.
* Provide inclusive support and advice to people from all backgrounds.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated coaching/mentoring experience and persuasion/influencing skills through previous work or social activities.
* Experience working in a customer‑facing environment (e.g., Customer Services, Hospitality, Social Care, Sales).
* Experience in a fast‑paced, performance‑target driven environment.
* Willingness to travel locally to meet customers/employers.
* Minimum of 2 A‑Levels or an equivalent Level3 Diploma.
* GCSE English Language at a minimum of GradeB (or equivalent Level2 qualification) or achievement of Level2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage or International Equivalents.

* Fluency in more than one language.
