Role Overview:
The Technical Support Engineer provides support to all users by investigating and resolving End User Computing hardware, applications, and software issues, from level 1 to level 3.
This position reports to the IT Technical Support Manager and is responsible for IT support related to end-user compute, including processes, procedures, and technologies within Multiplex IT. The role is customer-facing, primarily supporting construction sites across the region. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting project delivery and site setups.
* Collaborating globally with functional and cross-functional teams.
* Performing server maintenance, administration, and basic networking.
* Resolving user account issues, including passwords and access.
* Tracking and documenting service calls in the global system.
* Meeting SLAs through timely ticket management.
* Diagnosing incidents and participating in problem-solving groups.
* Using ServiceNOW for incident management and continuous improvement.
Qualifications for Success:
* Experience in an IT organization, preferably in End User Support roles.
* Strong interpersonal skills supporting diverse users.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency in Windows and Apple OS.
* Knowledge of desktop, mobile devices, and vendor products/services.
* Experience with business software like Microsoft Office.
* IT skills including AD, Azure, Intune, MDM, Networking (Cisco Meraki), and Windows Server.
