Are you an experienced Area Sales Manager with a background in the plumbing & heating industry? Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as a Sales Manager
Role Overview:
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling a range of domestic heating systems, including both traditional and alternative solutions. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and developing B2B client relationships within the designated area, including merchants and installers. You will play a vital role in achieving sales targets, expanding relationships with existing clients, and generating new leads through event activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop trust relationships with merchants and installers to ensure sales targets are achieved.
* Expand relationships with existing clients by proposing solutions that meet their needs and objectives.
* Act as the link of communication between customers and internal teams.
* Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers to maintain trust and satisfaction.
* Generate new leads, inquiries, and sales that result in long-lasting relationships.
* Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
* Control and optimize the use of promotions and discounts to drive sales effectively.
Skills/Attributes:
* Demonstrable experience exceeding sales/customer targets in a B2B environment.
* Experience working with Plumbing Merchants, Installers, Local Authorities, Social Housing, and Community groups is desirable.
* Effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical, internally and externally.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work under own initiative.
* Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of commercial agreements within the heating industry.
* Creative and able to implement initiatives and incentives to improve regional performance.
