* Work Schedule: This is a temporary position for Fall 2025 semester only. Work schedule is determined by office hours and student availability.

Position Description

Position Summary

The Student Office Assistant will support the Director and Assistant Director of Teacher Education, Field Placement Coordinator, and the Administrative Assistant in completing tasks necessary to the office.

Major/Experience

Experience Required

Experience working with various computer systems and organizational skills needed.

Experience Preferred / Skills, Characteristics Required For Position

* Strong organizational skills.
* Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Willingness to learn new computer skills and programs.
* Able to maintain confidentiality
* Good editing and proofreading skills.
* Creativity.
* Accurate data management and attention to detail.
* Social Media Skills

Dress Code

For office support, classroom apparel is acceptable, with professional teaching attire for representation at meetings.

Primary Duties

* Teacher Assistant
* Social Media Posts/Management
* File maintenance/Data Entry
* Create/maintain bulletin boards/monthly E-Digest
* Organization of field experience materials.
* Assist with TEP events.
* Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.

Secondary Duties

Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.
