Job Description:

Role Overview:
The Project Application Engineer will deliver process control system solutions, including SCADA and process control systems, throughout all project phases such as requirements gathering, documentation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and training. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with customers to define system requirements.
2. Design automation systems, including enclosures, networking, instrumentation, and supervisory systems.
3. Create functional and test specifications.
4. Implement control and SCADA applications.
5. Perform system tests and assist with commissioning.
6. Provide technical and sales support.
7. Collaborate effectively within the team to meet objectives.
8. Coordinate with Technical Support and Field Service Engineers.
9. Mentor junior team members.
10. Conduct off-site customer visits for start-up, commissioning, support, and training.
Qualifications and Attributes:
1. Proven experience in control systems implementation and related services.
2. Degree in Control and Systems Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
3. Experience with SCADA systems, specifically Aveva System Platform.
4. Knowledge of functional and test specifications and application engineering.
5. Strong business and technical mindset.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Analytical and planning abilities.
8. Willingness to travel occasionally.
