What is on offer as a Functional Assessor?
- Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
- Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)
- Castleford based when working on-site

- NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided What does the Functional Assessor role involve? The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 to 6 client assessments per day.
A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a persons disability or health condition affects their daily life.
Youll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.
Thats the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you dont.
Your role is to gather information and produce the report.
