We're working with a well‑established main contractor that has been delivering quality projects across the Southeast and London for many years. They've recently secured a new refurbishment scheme valued up to £14m, adding to an already strong order book. With a steady flow of work across residential, commercial, refurbishment and new build, they're in a great position and continuing to grow.
Because of this, they're now looking to bring in an Assistant Site Manager to support their project teams.
The Role
This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you'll be working closely with an experienced Site Manager, getting stuck into the day‑to‑day running of site and building your experience across a variety of projects.
You’ll be:
* Supporting the Site Manager with the day‑to‑day running of site
* Coordinating trades and subcontractors
* Helping keep the programme on track
* Monitoring health & safety and ensuring site standards are maintained
* Assisting with quality checks and snagging
* Getting involved in site administration and reporting
You’ll get exposure to a mix of refurbishment, fit out, and new build projects, making it a strong role for someone looking to develop their career.
About You
* Experience as an Assistant Site Manager or strong background as a Supervisor/Foreman looking to step up
* A good understanding of how a construction site runs
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Good communication and organisational skills
* SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid (or working towards)
* Keen to progress and build a long‑term career
