Position:Confined Space Entry Engineer
Location:Stanley House, Anthony's Way, Medway City Estate, Rochester, ME2 4NF
Line Reporting Manager:Transport Manager / Depot Manager
Principle Duties And Accountabilities
* Typically used for cleaning digester tanks, storm tanks, deep wet wells, man-entry trunk sewers, industrial vessels and many more. Our crews have the skills, experience and resources to clean any type, size and depth of tank.
Roles And Responsibilities
* Working on private and public land in strict accordance with statutory health, safety, and environmental procedures
* Interpret survey results and prepare comprehensive condition reports to industry standards
* Undertake basic H&S vehicle checks at the start and finish of each shift
* Report all defects, accidents and near misses immediately to line manager
* Ensure all jobs are correctly documented with work tickets submitted at the end of each shift
* Maintain the drivers log book in compliance with MOT rules and procedures
* Ensure the condition of all issued personal protective clothing and equipment remains fit for purpose, clean and free from defects.
* Keep the vehicle and equipment washed down on a weekly basis, free from rubbish.
* Undertake ad-hoc duties as and when your vehicle is off the road or you are required to assist other field teams in exceptional circumstances
* Attend meetings, medical and training courses as required
Health & Safety

Confined Space Entry Engineer Health And Safety Responsibilities Are
* To understand and comply with the company health and safety policy
* To influence and promote a positive health, safety culture within the organisation and lead by example
* To ensure all works activities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with legislative, company policies, procedures and the works RAMS
* To carry out comprehensively and complete in full, all company required site health and safety documentation
* To ensure the company health and safety documentation is read and understood on the tablets
* Ensure VPRs are carried out and completed in full
* DRAs are to be carried out for every job and updated where required
* To report all health, safety and environmental incidents to the Line Manager within 2 hours of it happening

* NRSWA Unit 2
* NRSWA Unit 10, desired
* High Pressure Water Jetting
* EU Skills Card (Green)
* Counter balance Counterweight Rescue System
* First Aid at Work Training
* EUSR Water Hygiene Card (Blue)
* Manual Handling
* Tetra Ladder Entry Level 2
* PIPE CCTV WTTA
* Asbestos Awareness (UKATA)
* Standpipe Usage Competence Training
* Ability to well under pressure
