Job Description
Account Manager (Health Policy / Public Affairs)
c. £39,000–£40,000 | London (flexible) + August remote working abroad
I’m working with a brilliant, newly established health policy and public affairs consultancy that’s quietly building something very special. A very young agency, they’ve already had an incredibly strong start winning global pharma and medtech work, and growing a tight-knit, ambitious team around them.
They’re now looking for an Account Manager (or strong SAE ready to step up) to join them at a pivotal moment.
The work is genuinely interesting and varied:
* Global pharma policy (including early-stage pipeline work)
* Medtech and access projects across the UK
* International congress exposure (think Geneva / WHO)
* A mix of UK and global health systems work
It’s less Westminster-heavy than some agencies' work, more shaping policy, access and strategic work.
This isn’t like a big agency role and will only be right for those with an entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset and a comfort with working to a lighter structure. But it is a dynamic, high-performing team where:
* Everyone gets stuck in; it's fast-paced and constantly evolving
* You’ll work directly with senior leadership
* You’ll be involved in both delivery and thinking
* There’s real opportunity to grow quickly and make your mark
They’re looking for someone who:
* Has agency experience in health / public affairs (or adjacent)
* Has experience in juggling multiple projects and staying organised
* Is proactive, curious and keen to progress
* Is excited to be part of building something, not just maintaining it
* Is intentional about being collaborative and all pulling in the same direction.
Why this role stands out:
* Early-stage growth offers real impact and visibility for a go-getter
* Varied, meaningful work across health
* A genuinely supportive, ambitious culture
* ️ The opportunity to work remotely from abroad each August (with a caveat!)
This is one of those roles that either feels exciting or a little bit uncomfortable. Is it for you?
