We\nare looking to appoint an ICT Infrastructure Engineer to join our ICT\nServices section.
\n

It\nis an exciting time to be joining the Combined Authority, following\nthe announcement of a £1.8bn devolution deal that has been secured\nfor West Yorkshire. Devolution will enable us to drive up living\nstandards for local communities while tackling the climate emergency\nand help deliver our commitment to become a net zero carbon city\nregion by 2038.

We have plans to continue this exciting change so\nthat we become a truly Digital First organisation by the use of\nflexible, innovative solutions which will benefit our partners and\nstaff. This role will help bring about that change.

Reporting into the\nICT Technical Services Manager, your key responsibilities will\ninclude:

* \n\tDesign, build and\n\tsupport the Office 365 and Microsoft Azure platforms.\n\t
\n
* \n\tSupport internal\n\tnetworks, firewalls, and connectivity.\n\t
\n
* \n\tImplement security\n\tand end point protection in line with NCSC guidelines.\n\t
\n
* \n\tBe a senior\n\tescalation point for all Incidents and Problems via a structured ICT\n\tService Desk function.

We\nare really interested in speaking to applicants who have experience\nin the following areas:

\n\t
* Office\n\t365, SharePoint, InTune and Azure platform management.\n\t
\n
* LAN,\n\tWAN, WLAN and connectivity technologies preferably using Cisco and\n\tMeraki.\n\t
\n
* Working\n\tas a senior engineer in a similar sized organisation with a proven\n\ttrack record of technical abilities.
