Vehicle Technician Required in Hay-on-Wye
1. Salary: Up to £30-41,000 per annum with £3,600 annual bonus potential.
2. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:15am-5:00pm. 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00am-1:00pm, paid at time and a half.

Our client, a large multi-franchise approved car dealer group with multiple dealerships across South Wales, is currently looking to recruit a fully qualified Vehicle Technician for their premium franchise-approved car dealership in Hay-on-Wye.
Reporting to the Service Manager and working as part of a small team, as a Vehicle Technician, your main duties will include:
4. Carry out a range of mechanical responsibilities, ranging from light servicing to clutches and engine work on our client's customers' vehicles (mainly cars/4x4s).
5. Carry out used car prep and PDIs in line with our client’s internal procedures and guidelines.
6. Ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and documented.
7. Adhere to our client’s high standards of health and safety.
8. Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and thoroughly.
To be eligible, you will need to be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Vehicle Technicians with an active MOT licence or any experience with 4x4 vehicles would be highly desirable; however is non-essential.
