Retail Development Manager - London

Location: CHANELSales Field Team

Contract:Fixed- Term Contract, Full-time until January 2027

Your role @CHANEL:

We are currently seeking a Retail Development Manager on a fixed term contract until January 2027.

The Retail Development Manager for London is an Area Manager level role, responsible for taking overall accountability for the retail business within London with a key focus on Harrods, Selfridges & Standalone Boutiques. The successul candiate willIdentify and develop opportunities to grow the CHANEL business and work with the Business and Account Managers to execute the brands priorities, ensuring the standards reflect that of the CHANEL image.

What impact you can create at Chanel:

Partnering with all Fragrance & Beautydepartments, this role will embody Chanel’s omnichannel strategy, with a key responsibility to protect and drive Brand Equity.

1. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving retail sales across the London area, with a key focus on Flagship stores such as Harrods, Selfridges and Stand-Alone Boutiques.

2. Empower and educate the instore teams through coaching and support development of career paths.

3. Responsible for recruitment of in-store teams.

4. Regular reviews with team on KPIs, Sales vs LY, booked services, as well as the achievement of their overall targets in all three categories to enhance performance.

5. Build strong professional relationships with Store Managers, Sales Managers,buyers, and key decision makers, to ensure optimum working partnerships in the development of the Chanel business.

6. Create sales strategies and analyse data, whilst working towards sales targets by area and by door.

7. Work closely across all head office departments & Sales Manager.

8. Customer experience custodian.

9. Brand Ambassador.
