The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share through consistently remaining consumer focused.
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting their Brand in driving sales turnover and market share through remaining consumer focused. They are accountable for achieving this by:
* Reflecting a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times
* Maximising sales through selling, providing excellent service and retail standards
* Contributing to efficiencies by adhering to store/Brand/Company Procedures and guidelines
* Understanding daily/weekly targets
* Ensuring personal awareness of all additional sales avenues, such as eventing, Omni, and digital channels
* Keeping up to date with competitor activities and missed opportunities
* Effectively using social media to leverage opportunities to drive the business and enhance the Brand image
* Delivering the Brand Strategy and local plans
* Planning and implementing local marketing & events initiatives aligned with Retailer activity
* Ensuring excellent service levels and creating a surprise and delight culture
* Being an Ambassador for the Brand, ensuring Brand values are represented
* Managing refunds and complaints according to guidelines and informing the Area Manager when appropriate
* Using digital tools to keep knowledge updated
* Developing strategies for consumer recruitment and retention
* Maintaining product knowledge to deliver an industry-leading experience
* Maintaining high standards in product presentation, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing
* Reviewing retail standards daily and ensuring they are maintained
* Completing deliveries, stock movements, and administration within company timeframes
* Ensuring compliance with auditable processes and taking corrective actions as needed
* Fulfilling information requests accurately and timely
* Minimising stock loss through security policies and procedures
* Creating a safe working environment and adhering to health & safety standards
Commerciality
* Managing daily replenishment and taking appropriate actions
* Maximising sales using all available reports
* Planning and delivering visual merchandising within guidelines and deadlines
* Managing promotions and discounts per guidelines
* Identifying trends and suggesting improvements
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast-paced retail or consumer-facing environment
* Ability to drive self-development
* Understanding of industry and commercial awareness
* Effective communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills
