What You'll Be Doing
Oversee the complete financial cycle including budgeting, forecasting, annual accounts and external audits
Lead and develop the finance team
Ensure regulatory compliance with ESFA, DfE, and charity accounting requirements
Monitor school financial performance, business partner with budget holders and present strategic and financial reports
Manage cash flow, VAT returns and relationships with banks and financial suppliers
Implement robust financial controls and compliance
What We're Looking For
Qualified accountant (ICAEW, CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA or equivalent)
Must have substantial financial management experience gained in education, ideally at a multi-academy trust
Experience producing financial statements and managing external audits
Exceptional communication skills with ability to support budget holders and translate complex financial information
