The Head of Ecommerce Trading will play a key role in leading online trading strategy across multiple product categories, driving sales, margin and conversion performance within a fast paced retail environment.
This role requires a highly commercial leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands on execution, using customer insight, trading performance and data to identify opportunities and drive growth.
Working closely with buying, merchandising and marketing teams, the Head of Ecommerce Trading will ensure trading decisions are aligned across the business while continuously improving operational performance and customer experience.
What You'll Be Doing Lead and deliver the ecommerce trading strategy to maximise sales, margin and profitability Own trading performance across ecommerce channels, monitoring KPIs including conversion, AOV, revenue and margin Analyse sales data, customer behaviour and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimise performance Drive product visibility and onsite merchandising across key trading categories Manage stock flow and trading activity to balance availability, sell through and markdown risk Plan and execute promotional activity to drive customer engagement and revenue growth Work closely with buying, merchandising and marketing teams to align commercial priorities Identify opportunities to improve onsite experience, customer journey and conversion performance Lead, coach and develop a high performing ecommerce trading team Drive operational excellence across ecommerce trading activity What We're Looking For Strong experience within ecommerce trading, digital trading or online merchandising within a fast paced retail environment Background within fashion, lifestyle or multi category retail would be highly advantageous Proven ability to drive sales growth and ecommerce performance through data led trading decisions Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs including conversion, AOV, retention and customer engagement Commercial mindset with the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands on Experience leading xxuwjjq and developing teams within a high growth retail or ecommerce business Confident analysing performance data and translating insight into actionable plans Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work cross functionally Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable operating at pace Why Apply Join a growing retail business with ambitious ecommerce growth plans Opportunity to shape and influence ecommerce trading strategy High visibility role with real commercial impact Fast paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment Competitive salary and benefits package If you are a Head of Ecommerce Trading looking for a role where you can combine trading, ecommerce and commercial leadership within a growing retail business, we would love to hear from you.
