We are looking for a Fabrications Team Leader who is ready to take ownership, innovate, and make an immediate impact with a growing company in the Evesham area.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead safe and efficient brake press operations.
* Oversee machine maintenance (TPM) and maintain a clean, organised workshop.
* Enforce health and safety standards for all staff and visitors.
* Manage team performance, delegate tasks, and promote a positive work culture.
* Maintain production flow and ensure schedules are met.
* Track attendance, manage holidays, and log project hours accurately.
* Read technical drawings and collaborate with design and production teams.
* Advise on processes, materials, and supplier choices.
* Order materials within budget and escalate issues when necessary.
What You'll Bring
* Proven hands-on experience with brake press and fabrication.
* Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
* Problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
* Understanding of Lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
* Confident IT skills for scheduling, reporting, and resource planning.
* A positive attitude: practical, team-oriented, and no egos.
