Location: -

This is a hybrid role, with a mix between working approximately 1-2 days a week (or more if you prefer) in our beautiful central London office (Goodge Street) and working from home.

Your place at the Lily’s Kitchen Table: -

Reporting to the Head of Impact and Sustainability, you will join a team at the forefront of driving innovation and sustainable progress. The NPD & Sustainability Project Manager leads end-to-end stage-gate management and ensures sustainability and product initiatives are delivered successfully, meeting business requirements and supporting the organisation’s ESG commitments.

How will I make a difference?

You will: -

* Product Development - End to End gate project management:
* Manage the full stage-gate lifecycle of projects, from concept through to execution and closure and performance evaluation
* Own, develop and maintain project documentation templates
* Responsible for all critical paths
* Facilitate weekly gate taskforce team catch ups
* Ensure all actions have been done by making each action owner/team accountable
* Identify bottlenecks and proactively drive corrective actions to keep projects on track
* Make or Buy process
* Manage a cross functional team of stakeholders
* Facilitate monthly gate meetings, ensuring clear decision-making, risk management, and alignment with business priorities
* Update and improve the process along with process stakeholders
* End to End project management of sustainability initiatives, including:
* B Corp Re-certification and Annual Audits
* Implementation of sustainability directives and / or legislative requirements
* Annual impact report
* Annual data collection for Lily’s carbon footprint
* General Project Management responsibilities :
* Take responsible for leading assigned key projects within the product team e.g. shelf-life testing, routine palatability, market expansion
* Project manage the Product team’s NIA audit actions to ensure we deliver the change and evidence required on time
* Own the cross functional supplier meetings for Supply Chain, Product, Quality and Sustainability
* Manage Freelancers, including contracts ensuring all are up to date, signed and filed
* Manage the Product Team monthly meetings, ensuring notes and actions are taken and followed up
* Competitor Reviews / market Evaluation Innovation / New launches o Keep up to date on competitor activity and customer feedback
* pulling together a quarterly report
* organise relevant comparative trials as required

How will I contribute to the team? You are: -

* A proven track record of working in a project management role, with the ability to juggle a large number of different projects at any given time (we currently have 80+!)
* Experience of managing projects within the area of product development, R&D, sustainability or supply chain is desirable but not essential. Previous experience of working within an FMCG or high growth retail business would also be an advantage
* A strategic and structured thinker
* Are results-driven and proactive
* Are passionate about sustainability and business transformation
* Comfortable working in a busy, changing environment
* Flexible in adapting to changing priorities, processes, and team needs
* Able to proactively adjust to new situations and maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude
* Supportive, and use your expertise to guide the team through the process
* Act as a key point of contact for project governance
* A problem solver to work through issues to help keep projects on track
