We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Factory Engineer to join our team at Stewarts of Tayside. Our facility features a large, modern production environment, packing fresh produce across 3 packhouses. We require a proactive individual to ensure that our factory operations run efficiently year-round. This role involves maintaining a variety of factory equipment and systems, as well as responding to any technical issues that arise. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and repair of factory equipment and production systems. Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults to minimize downtime. Conducting routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance. Ensuring all machinery is operating safely and efficiently. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to factory performance enhancements. Requirements: Strong communication skills. Proven experience in maintaining factory or industrial equipment. Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to work independently and solve problems under pressure whilst working well as part of a team. High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
