Role: Assistant Site Manager

The role: Linsco is working with a developer looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager based in Huddersfield. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with house builder experience to join a well-established and award-winning company.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and deliver the build programme in accordance with budgets and forecasts, ensuring the final product meets high standards.
2. Assist the Site Manager and work with Site Staff.
3. Coordinate with head office, NHBC, and local authority departments.
4. Order materials timely to meet the build programme.
5. Ensure all NHBC inspections are completed as required.
6. Conduct handover inspections of properties to customers in line with customer care procedures.
7. Address customer care defects promptly with the customer care team.
8. Promote safety, progress, quality, and innovation on site.
Requirements:
* Knowledge and experience managing labour-only groundworkers/contractors.
* Strong understanding of construction build programmes.
* Good commercial awareness.
* Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes.
* Experience achieving customer service requirements.
* Awareness of codes of practice such as NHBC, Building Regulations, etc.
Qualifications & Training:
* SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
* CSCS Card.
* First Aid certification.
* Fire Marshall training.
* Scaffolding knowledge is a plus.
