As the Council’s technical lead for Adult Social Care improvement, you will:
* Lead the development of procurement and improvement plans across Adult Social Care.
* Support the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) for the Promoting Independence and Wellbeing Programme by managing processes and driving delivery.
* Provide strategic support to the SRO and senior managers in setting direction and leading priorities for transformation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders to deliver joined-up, person-centred services.
* Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services that meet the assessed needs of adults across Westmorland and Furness.
Who we are looking for…
We’re looking for a motivated and forward-thinking professional with:
* A relevant professional or management qualification (or equivalent experience).
* Strong knowledge of local government and the challenges it faces.
* Experience in programme management, service improvement, and leading transformation.
* Excellent organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and build effective relationships.
