IT Delivery Manager (Digital)
We are looking for an IT Delivery Manager to join Yorkshire Water’s IT team and help deliver high‑impact technology that improves customer experience. The role will be based in West Yorkshire, initially in Bradford and will move to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026. It is a permanent, 37‑hour week position, Monday to Friday.

Where you fit in
As the IT Delivery Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the digital programme, driving strategy, leading teams and influencing decisions.
Responsibilities
* Lead the central voice of the IT Digital programme, communicating progress and keeping stakeholders aligned.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across CX and TEC.
* Identify and remove blockers to keep momentum high and ensure programme pace.
* Shape and align strategy, bridging business needs and technical delivery.
* Design and deliver an ambitious technology roadmap aligned with Customer Experience strategy.
* Own programme planning end‑to‑end, coordinating timelines, resources, and dependencies.
* Drive commercial awareness by managing budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring value.
* Influence key decisions, lead supplier and tender processes, and bring innovative thinking.
* Inspire and coach Project Managers and wider teams, building a high‑performing delivery environment.
* Lead governance ensuring quality, accountability, and on‑time delivery.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for joined‑up, high‑quality outcomes.
* Continuously improve work processes, boosting efficiency and managing risks.
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement using data and insights.
* Lead by example, building capability, developing talent, and creating growth opportunities.

What skills & qualifications you will need
* Commercial awareness, with knowledge of capital regulations and investment planning.
* Ability to set clear, ambitious targets and hold others accountable.
* Strong relationship‑building skills across teams, stakeholders, and partners.
* Excellent communication, simplifying complex technical information.
* Highly organised and able to prioritise in fast‑paced environments.
* Experience with both agile and waterfall project delivery models.

* Experience in a senior operational or strategic leadership role within a commercial or regulated environment (advantageous).
* Background in utilities, water, wastewater, or related industries beneficial.
* Experience leading and embedding change, influencing culture and behaviours.
