This is a new post to meet growing demand in Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT and cross-sectional imaging. The appointee will form part of a wider group of radiologists providing general cross-sectional reporting with a range of subspecialist interests and add to a dynamic group providing Nuclear Medicine / PET/CT services which has multidisciplinary team members.
With the Molecular Imaging Centre and its cyclotron facility there are opportunities to engage in non FDG PET/CT reporting if the post holder can demonstrate relevant experience.
The appointees will undertake a session of acute body reporting. There will be involvement in clinico-radiological and MDT meetings.
The posts include supervision and training of the specialist registrars.
