Working in our Merseyside District and reporting to the Logistics Team Leader (England) you will be responsible for the day to day running of our Stores facility at SP Energy Networks Prenton Depot.
Delivering a secure, safe and reliable service to colleagues and external customers.
You will ensure that the materials used by SP Energy Networks in the maintenance of the local electricity network are stored, packed, handled and located correctly, operating to high standards in terms of Safety, Quality and the Environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Take delivery of incoming goods by unloading delivery vehicles.
Check the quality and accuracy of deliveries.
Put away stock and arrange for the updating of material management systems to reflect goods receipts.
Accurately pick and assemble loads for uplift by Field Staff and Contractor Partners.
Assure that our Inventory Management Systems are updated to reflect goods issues.
Contribute to on-going Stores housekeeping and the efficient locating of stock.
Carry out stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
Preferred Candidates will have up to date authorisation to operate counter- balance fork -lift trucks.
What You'll Bring
The successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills and the ability to ensure a professional, clean and tidy work environment at all times.
You will have experience of working in a Stores environment and be able to provide demonstrable skills in maintaining and updating MRP Inventory Management Systems.
A full UK Driving Licence is required for this position
