Role: EPC Energy Performance Consultant
Location: UK wide with a focus on London, Coventry, Leicester, Northampton, Warrington & Manchester
Hours: Full time Monday -Friday 09:00-17:00 – this is a hybrid role where flexibility will be required, the aim will be 3 days on-site & 2 days working from home however this is very much dependant on business needs
Salary: £25,000-£35,0000 DOE
Due to continued success & expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of EPC Energy Performance Consultants to join my client, you will be based (rom home with onsite client surveys in your area.
My client is ideally looking for individuals that have a minimum 12 months previous experience, however they are also open to graduates provided that you have relative uni experience, ultimately, they are looking for individuals that have a willingness to learn.
You must have a full driving licence if non London based

My client is a leading provider of Energy and Consultancy services to the property industry across the UK. They specialise in the built environment and offer a wide range of services, delivering technical advice and support in running today's commercial and public sector buildings.

About the role:
As an energy assessor you will undertake site surveys of commercial & domestic properties for the purpose of producing an EPC or DEC report – you will do this 3 days per week & will then WFH entering data from the site survey onto modelling proforma. Flexibility is key here as the work can fluctuate meaning some weeks are more onsite based than others. The scheduling team try and keep the balance of onsite and remote work even where possible.
Responsibilities
* Data collecting in commercial & domestic properties, liaising with site contacts to ensure access to all areas.
* Undertaking modelling to ensure accurate understanding of site survey results.
* Input into development and enhancement of data capture processes to be used for EPC/DEC work.
* Produce reports detailing findings and recommendations.
* Take responsibility for ensuring all works are of suitable quality & carried out on time.
* Using computer software to produce energy efficiency ratings and Energy Performance Certificates (EPC)
* Sharing efficiency ratings and explaining your findings.
* Advising on ways to improve energy efficiency.
