Due to ongoing growth, my client is seeking a skilled and driven Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the design, delivery, and coordination of innovative electrical engineering solutions for building services projects. You will lead technical delivery, mentor junior engineers, and ensure solutions meet the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and efficiency. Responsibility & Duties
* Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems for building services projects
* Lead electrical engineering input across project phases, from feasibility to commissioning
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, building regulations, and client specifications
* Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, architects, and contractors, as the senior electrical engineer
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship as the senior electrical engineer
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance processes
* Participate in client meetings and design reviews, offering innovative solutions
Experience & Qualification
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
* 5 Years + Extensive experience in electrical design within building services
* Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP)
* Strong knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations and other relevant standards
* Proven leadership and project management capabilities as the senior electrical engineer
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail as the senior electrical engineer
* Experience in sustainable and energy-efficient electrical design is desirable
