We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day running of our nursery. You’ll lead and inspire our team while ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and compliance. Collaborating closely with the Nursery Manager, you’ll help create a positive environment for children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
* Understand and ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
* Assist in managing medication administration and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date.
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources appropriate to each child's age and stage of development.
* Promote respect and credibility through effective communication, impartiality, and consistency.
* Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and challenges to achieve outstanding practice.
* Undertake additional duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.

Requirements:
* Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
* Essential: Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years.
* Essential: Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
* Desirable: Over 1 year of experience in a management position.
* Desirable: Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership.
* Desirable: Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding.
