Our client is a leader in commercial real estate and investment. As part of their ongoing growth, they are looking to recruit a Building Surveyor to join their team in Liverpool
If you're a RICS qualified surveyor with a background in commercial property and a keen interest in delivering high quality consultancy across diverse asset types this could be the ideal next step for you.
Responsibilities for the Building Surveyor:
Assist in delivering technical due diligence for a range of UK and EMEA investment and occupier clients.
Undertake building surveys for both individual properties and larger portfolio instructions.
Prepare and support negotiation of Schedules of Dilapidations on behalf of landlords and tenants.
Conduct defect analysis and contribute to PPM schedules and refurbishment strategies.
Support Contract Administration duties and refurbishment/fit-out project delivery.
Collaborate with senior colleagues and internal teams to ensure client expectations are met.
Ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and in line with professional standards.
Requirements for the Building Surveyor:
MRICS qualified, ideally with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience.
Experience or strong interest in technical due diligence, dilapidations, and contract administration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commercial approach.
Capable of working independently and as part of a wider team.
Proactive mindset with a willingness to develop client relationships and support business growth.
Willing to travel throughout the UK and EMEA as required.
Full UK driving licence.
