An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced children’s nurse to join our team. We are the only dedicated paediatric heart failure clinic in the UK and Ireland, managing complex cases of 0–18-year-olds. We seek a children’s cardiac nurse with vision and enthusiasm to contribute to the quality and development of our service, with a commitment to children and families.

Main duties of the job
* Develop clinical assessment skills and decision-making regarding patients with heart failure under supervision.
* Manage busy weekly clinics, support families with medication titration, and develop our genetics service.
* Collaborate with teams such as electrophysiology, inherited cardiovascular, transplant, neuromuscular, and metabolic.
* Ensure effective communication within the multidisciplinary team and with other hospital departments, families, and visitors.
* Discharge planning for heart failure patients, including training as a BLS Instructor and supporting parents with 'Red Flag' teaching.
