At GXO, we’re looking for a Regional HR Advisor to join our team in the Southeast supporting our Equipment Management Network sites, where it’s all about recycling and reuse. You will support ten sites (Bedford, Burton Latimer, Dagenham, Dartford, Erith, Peterborough, Sittingbourne, Snodland, Waltham Abbey and Sywell) and guide a range of HR/People related matters while developing operational management competence levels of middle‑level managers.
This is a full‑time, permanent position, predominately Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. You can be based at any of the sites you are responsible for but must be able to travel to the other locations within the area.

Salary of up to £40,000.00, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day
* Provide HR guidance and support the region on a range of people‑related matters, from first‑line support to TUPE, redundancy and consultation processes
* Support, coach and advise key stakeholders on all HR issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance improvement
* Conduct regular and in‑depth site HR reviews, identifying and driving any areas of improvement
* Assist the sites in the development of our managerial colleagues in terms of their own understanding and ability to support their operations in ER cases
What you need to succeed at GXO
* A strong background in a similar HR position would be advantageous; however, we will provide training and on‑going support to develop your career if it is the next step for you.
* Excellent working knowledge of HR processes, procedures and employment law (having or studying towards CIPD would be a bonus)
* The flexibility and ability to travel throughout the Southeast as well as occasionally further afield for meetings and events
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
