Role Purpose:
To polish and finish tooling and electrodes using a variety of hand tools and precision equipment to achieve the required surface standards and tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
Polish tooling and electrodes to the specified surface finish with optimal efficiency.
Use hand tools and equipment safely and competently, including ultrasonic machines and die grinders.
Polish, fit, and assemble tooling and dies using appropriate tools.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
Work to tight tolerances and inspect own work to ensure standards are met.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process and work independently when required.
Support the implementation of company policies and business objectives.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
