You'll play a key part in keeping our rooms and public areas looking their best, while guiding and supporting the housekeeping team to succeed. What you'll be doing Ensuring all guest rooms meet our high standards before they're ready to welcome guests Preparing daily work schedules to help the team run smoothly and efficiently Checking public areas to maintain a consistently clean and welcoming environment Supporting stock management, ensuring housekeeping supplies are well organised and available Training and guiding team members on best practices and use of equipment Supporting ordering and stock control within housekeeping stores Keeping housekeeping records and documentation accurate and up to date Assisting in the linen room when needed Managing key distribution securely and responsibly Handling lost property queries with care and professionalism Stepping up to lead the team in the absence of the Head or Deputy Head Housekeeper Working closely with Reception to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly Reporting maintenance issues promptly to keep our facilities at their best Creating a personal touch by recognising and engaging with guests whenever possible Supporting guest queries and ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for Attending training sessions and team meetings to stay sharp and informed What we're looking for A keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high standards Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a busy environment A team player who enjoys supporting and developing others Confidence communicating with both colleagues and guests A responsible and proactive approach to health, safety, and compliance Why join us?
