Salary: £80,000- £95,000 per annum plus bonus of up to £5,000 per annum.

About us!
Welcome to The Beech House School! An independent SEN school that specialises in looked after children. Our school is currently a small Ofsted rated ‘GOOD’ school catering for up to 6 students who reside in our residential children’s homes. In 2026, we are looking to expand our offering and develop our school at a new site based in Farnham, which can cater for up to 50 children who are looked after or require a SEN specialist provision.
The school will remain closely linked to our children’s homes in Surrey, with children who reside here attending the school, plus day students from the borough. Eventually there will also be 2 residential care homes on the same site as the school. One of these provisions is due to open late 2025 and the other at another stage.
We will look to offer a broad curriculum but also specialist therapeutic interventions, forest school and vocational qualifications to support the needs of the students.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
•\tRecognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
•\tProven success in teaching multiple subjects.
•\tAt least two years’ experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
•\tExperience managing pupils with challenging behaviours and implementing tailored interventions.
•\tStrong school management background, overseeing daily operations and leading staff teams.
•\tIn-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum.
•\tSkilled in designing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
•\tExpertise in effective teaching strategies and a commitment to continuous professional development.
•\tStrong understanding of how children learn and how to support sustained academic growth.
•\tKnowledge of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in students.
•\tSkilled in building positive, supportive relationships with students.
•\tUnderstanding of safeguarding policies and commitment to a safe, supportive environment.
•\tKnowledge of effective behaviour management, with a focus on positive reinforcement.
•\tProficient in using ICT to enhance learning experiences.
•\tExperience working therapeutically to promote emotional well-being and academic success.
•\tAbility to collaborate with wider company management teams to meet high standards and drive improvement.
•\tExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage home and school teams effectively.
