As a Post Office Counter Clerk, you'll be responsible for dealing with postal and financial services, handling forms and applications, and managing foreign currencies. This role involves accurate cash handling and the use of computer systems. As a valued member of our Post Office team, you will receive full counter training, ongoing development, and support.
Operational hours: Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm, Saturday 09:00am - 13:00pm
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing excellent customer service
2. Completing and undertaking regular compliance checks
3. Following all policies, procedures, and cash management protocols
4. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety and security policies
5. Ensuring punctuality and professional appearance in line with the Society's uniform policy
6. Handling customer complaints professionally according to the Society's procedures
7. Keeping all records up to date, managing high-volume posting activities, and communicating with clients and vendors
Key qualities:
* Excellent customer service skills and a passion for customer care
* Ability to listen, interact, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
* Confident, friendly, and approachable demeanor
* Cash handling experience is desirable
