About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Data Scientist to join our data team. This entry-level role focuses on analyzing data, supporting machine learning initiatives, and delivering insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in the field of data science and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends and patterns
* Assist in building, testing, and validating machine learning models
* Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering
* Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
* Support A/B testing, experimentation, and model evaluation
* Document analytical processes, methodologies, and findings
* Stay updated with emerging trends in data science and AI
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
* 0–1 year of experience in data science, data analysis, or a related role (internships included)
* Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis
* Basic understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning concepts
* Familiarity with data libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and data storytelling abilities
Preferred Qualifications
* Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform
* Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
* Basic knowledge of SQL and database systems
* Experience with machine learning libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar)
