Veterinary Receptionist - Reading If you enjoy delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a team, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Tilehurst Vets for Pets practice. What your typical day will look like: Providing exceptional service to our clients and the highest standard of care to their pets, acting as a key link between clients and the clinical team. Building strong relationships with clients, their pets, and your colleagues, which will be essential to your success. Ensuring every client leaves the practice feeling completely satisfied, having received outstanding service and looking forward to their next visit. Greeting clients warmly, offering support and guidance, and confidently managing payments and future bookings. Coordinating the smooth day-to-day running of the practice using our online booking system, so strong computer skills are essential. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with a salary in line with the national minimum wage. About You: Previous medical receptionist experience is essential. You are the friendly and welcoming face for clients and their pets when they arrive at the practice. You are confident in providing guidance by keeping up to date with practice services and any additional offerings. You remain calm, attentive, and always focused on meeting clients' needs. You bring enthusiasm and drive to your role, with a genuine passion for both customer service and animal care. You can handle a wide range of situations, from supporting clients through difficult news to celebrating happy milestones like a new puppy's first visit. Your positive and engaging personality helps create a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the team.
