About the Role
As an Epic Consultant, you will work closely with healthcare providers to design, configure, and optimize Epic solutions that improve clinical and operational outcomes. You will play a critical role in delivering end‑to‑end Epic implementations while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Accenture’s healthcare practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in end‑to‑end Epic implementation projects, including design, build, testing, and go‑live support
* Translate clinical and business requirements into Epic system configurations aligned with best practices
* Configure, test, and maintain Epic modules to meet client needs and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with clinicians, operational stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery
* Support data validation, integration testing, and workflow optimization activities
* Identify opportunities to improve system usability, efficiency, and patient outcomes
* Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and end‑user support as required
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and healthcare transformation efforts
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare, Computer Science, or a related field
* 3–7 years of hands‑on experience working with Epic implementations or support
* Epic certification in at least one module (e.g., Ambulatory, Inpatient, Orders, ClinDoc, Revenue Cycle, or related)
* Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical or operational processes
* Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
* Experience working on large‑scale healthcare transformation programs
* Prior consulting experience in healthcare IT or digital health
* Exposure to system integrations, reporting, or data analytics within Epic
* Experience supporting go‑live or post‑implementation optimization activities
