We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a secondary school team. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a love of language and literature while achieving their full academic potential. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as an English Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3–KS5.
* Support students in developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills.
* Create an inclusive learning environment that challenges and supports all abilities.
* Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress in line with school policies.
* Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as debating, drama, or creative writing clubs.
* Work collaboratively within the English department to share good practice and resources.
Ideal English Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* A degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills as an English Teacher.
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students of all abilities.
