We are seeking an HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
You will work within our Histology Department to support the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients by providing timely results.
Applicants must hold HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist and ideally have experience working in a busy Histology Department.
Your responsibilities will include working across all areas of the Histology Laboratory and supporting the technical service provision.
This role involves participating in biomedical activities such as tissue sectioning and staining, as well as routine tasks.
You will rotate through specialized areas including Immunocytochemistry and Molecular Pathology.
It is essential to ensure the department meets cancer target deadlines and to demonstrate effective team collaboration skills.
Additional details: The role may require Saturday work.
