We are partnering with a private equity-backed care home group undergoing a significant period of transformation, performance improvement and growth.
With a current portfolio of c.12 homes and a clear strategy to scale ahead of a future exit, the business is building a best-in-class finance function to support its ambitions.
As part of this journey, they are seeking a high-calibre Senior FP&A Analyst to strengthen financial planning, insight, and decision support across the group.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial insight and driving performance across a multi-site care portfolio.
This is not a reporting role—it’s a commercially focused position where your analysis will directly influence strategic decisions, operational performance, and value creation.
You will operate at the heart of the business, working closely with senior stakeholders across finance and operations in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
* Deliver high-quality monthly performance reporting with clear, actionable insights
* Provide detailed variance analysis across occupancy, fees, labour and margin
* Build and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making
* Partner with operational leaders to drive performance improvement across the estate
* Support cashflow forecasting and working capital optimisation
* Assist with M&A analysis, integration, and scenario modelling
* Drive continuous improvement in reporting, systems and data quality
The Candidate
You will be a commercially minded FP&A professional with experience operating in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent
* Strong FP&A experience with exposure to budgeting, forecasting and modelling
* Proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable insight
* Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders
* Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large data sets
* Advanced Excel skills; exposure to BI tools (e.g. Power BI) advantageous
* Experience within care, healthcare, childcare or multi-site services is highly desirable
