We're looking for an experienced and resilient Service Manager to support the next phase of improvement. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Adult Social Services, you'll lead our Business Support Service and play a key role in shaping transformation across the department.
About Business Support
This service underpins the delivery of adult social care across the Council. The service is responsible for:
* Care liaison and purchasing, working with internal and external providers
* Financial assessments and recovery of client contributions.
* Timely and accurate payments to care providers, foster carers and special guardians
* Direct Payments and Personal Health Budget administration, in partnership with the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Children's Social Care.
* Managing contact from service users, families and professionals, ensuring a clear and appropriate response that is strength-based and minimises risk
* System data recording and maintenance
About You
We are seeking an innovative values-driven leader with the vision and capability to:
* Drive service improvement and transformation.
* Motivate and develop teams.
* Collaborate with our people, partners and peers to re-design and strengthen systems processes and information to provide the best possible outcomes.
